How are the summer and winter seasons most like and unlike the weather where you live?

lately, where I live, our summers have become drought; we are often getting little or no rain over our summer season. Growing up, this wasn’t so, but in the past 10 years we all are having to learn how to get by without rainfall and use other means to water crops and to become more aware of the amount of water we are using. because of this, we now pay for our water usage with meters put in our homes, and there are fines applied to people who use water in their gardens on unassigned days. our winters get a fair amount of snow, so we rely on the spring melt to bring water levels back to normal. however, we are not getting as much snow as before and often we are getting hot temperatures too early in the season that cause our snow pack to melt too quickly before penetrating into the earth, as it runs into the rivers and eventually our to the sea.

We have hot summer months and we can have several weeks of drought, but it does not last for multiple months at a time. We have snow in the winter and always easy access to water for all activities of life.

In Ohio the weather is unpredictable. It can be all seasons in a week but the summer is generally insanely hot and the winter usually has super cold days, but this year we had a drought that ended yesterday. We have the great lakes which provide us water regardless of rain or drought.

<b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-primary-color); background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color);”>The weather here in Singapore is perpetually hot and humid. The island is very close to the equator, which means it doesn’t experience four distinct seasons as Promised Land does. Rather, it goes through a ‘dry’ season (March to August) and a ‘wet’ season (September to February).

As in Israel the summer is the hottest months here and winter months are the coldest. However, where I live differs greatly from Israel in many ways. Our summers are quite hot and yet humid here because we are subtropical but also temperate. We receive our least rainfall in summer but usually it is adequate to avoid drought. Although it is often dry enough to prohibit burning outdoors. Our winters are relatively mild and we do not see much snow but receive rain and wintry mixes throughout the winter season. We always have adequate water supplies, thanks to a man-made lake and system of dams. There are several rivers that flow here and when the water supply is threatened, they either release water from the dam to prevent flooding or drop the lake levels accordingly to divert to the available drinking supply. Additionally, some water use restrictions, like how frequently you may wash your car or water your lawn, are enforced to ensure an adequate supply of drinking water.
