Deleted User10/29/2023 at 08:33To consider the Bible as a living, speaking, text directly addressing the circumstances of my life puts a whole new understanding and weight to reading the Bible. The idea of linking what we’ve read in the Bible to our prayer time with God is a great insight for me; It makes sense that if the Word is God speaking to me than He would naturally desire a response from me following my time studying His word.
