How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

I have heard this before, also was suggested to be silent in prayer and allow Go to talk to you, I get more from reading God ward, its the time where I feel God Is talking directly to me. I must learn to prayer after reading the bible to express what I have laernt.

It makes sense because two-way communication is crucial in a healthy relationship. I need to listen to what God is saying to me, and I also need to express myself to Him. It’s amazing to see that our God is an immanent God, and a sinful, underserving human like me has been given a chance by his grace to have a personal and deeper relationship with Him.

I need to work more on this two way communications between me and God. I need to listen more. I believe this two way communications is very important to my growth in Christ.

I recognize that God is so gracious and loving that He will not limit His ways of revealing Himself to me.

It is important to have two-way communication but I find that it is not always easy. In my quiet time i struggled with not knowing what to do. I would pray but it felt ineffective. I would read a bible passage and not fully understand it. But when I prayed to God to help my quiet time with Him, before I knew it my time with Him became very special and productive.
