How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

If we miss the part of listening to God during our prayer time and Bible reading, we’ve merely checked a box, and missed the point. It’s about relationship, not religious duty.

The system lets me hear from God and speak to Him….and that means proper communication!

The two way communication with God by prayer and Bible reading/studying is accurate….. that’s what I’ve found to work for me. Sometimes I talk to God about a situation and He addresses the matter in a devotional, or in a verse of Scripture. Sometimes it happens right away and sometimes it will come later. Yes, when we pray, God hears and He eventually answers..

Two-way communication mean connection and relationship. Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord of all creation wants to actually have a two-way conversation!

You can’t have any valuable information exchange without the give and take; I value both the scripture readings and my prayers. I think the Lord wants us to express our thoughts and feelings to him, tho he already knows them.
