How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

Just knowing I have an opportunity to speak to the LORD anytime through PRAYER even when I’m not reading is a BLESSING. The thought that our FatherLORD speaks to us through the HOLY spirit brings me unspeakable JOY.

Two-way communication impressed me because it is the most natural way of communication. In Bible-Study, God is talking to us/me, giving encouragement, guidelines, instructions, etc. In Prayer I am talking to God, praising him, acknowledging Him, and making my requests known to Him. In a two-way conversation, there is a beautiful exchange between sender, listener, or vice versa. Everybody cannot speak at the same time or for the duration of the conversation.

I always find that in reading a specific passage, I think I know what God is saying. Prayer confirms or helps me understand better as I ask for guidance

I practice that but I never heard it said that way. Thanks for affirmation.

I wouldn’t say it impressed me as much as it’s just a reminder that these two go hand-in-hand.
