I am guilty of not feeling “tired and not in the mood,” I am also guilty of skipping over the actual Bible verse. Even though the devotional is relatable and helps me see things in a new light, it doesn’t stick with me or change my life/relationship because I did not do it as it was intended to be done.

In order for all relationships to maintain and develop well, interactive communication(twoway) is important. In the relationship between God and me, it is important to read, meditate, pray, and praise the Bible. These words, prayers, and praise must be balanced. This is the front and back of the coin or the front and rear wheels of the bicycle.

It means I can communicate with God. It also means I need to realize that I must listen to God as well.

It should always be prayer and Bible study they go hand in hand.

It should always be two way. You can only grow in a relationship with someone when the communication is two way. God created us to commune with us and us to commune with Him.
