It was a reminder that we are seeking to know God more and engage with Him rather than just check it off

We are also to give praying for others a high priority. -
I have been doing this for years. When we read the Bible to ENGAGE rather than to consume, then God really shows up. Praying Scripture helps me connect to the heart of God!

Bible reading prepares your heart for prayer. A lot of times when we don’t know what or how to pray we can look to scripture to find instruction and inspiration.

It is my experience, reading the Bible and then praying through scripture opens your mind to hear the Holy Spirit more clearly.
