How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

They offer a challenge to me to look at my relationship with god and where I need to be at with it. Why? because this has been major point of struggle in the past

Because a healthy relationship entails two-way communication; hence both hearing from God via the scriptures and speaking to God via prayers are invaluable to my Christian walk.

The idea that our prayer should reflect what God just revealed to us, probably shouldn’t be, but was an awesome way to communicate with God. The idea that prayer and Bible work together to be a conversation with God is great.
