How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

I liked the idea of recording the date, passage, key verse, and application. I think that would be a helpful way for me to engage with what I am reading and focus on personal application and not just on gaining head knowledge about the Bible. I do think that the two-way communication principle is very important, and I have found in the past that praying scripture back to God has aided me in my prayer life.

It is a principle I was familiar with already, but certainly always need to be reminded and refreshed on it!

This is why it is important to read the Bible and pray. We must do both.

For so many years that I’ve known the Lord I find this principle amazing. It is hard to go astray following this principle.
