How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

It just makes sense as we have God’s Word in every way throughout the Bible and we can get God’s communication to us at times, when we are patient and listen to His calling.

it is more like a wakeup call. I feel this distress all the time. I am praying but is there anyone listening.

God speaks to us through His Word and in communion with the Holy Spirit. I need to share my thoughts with God, but also allow His words to penetrate my soul.

As I said in the previous questions, I have preferred only reading the bible and praying but not listening for His voice, because I don’t trust myself to discern.

Relationships is a two way communication and the principle helps the Lord speak to you through His word and the voice of the Holy Spirit
