How did the principle of two-way communication (prayer and Bible reading) impress you? Why?

Yes I find it very useful and agree that two-way communication is essential for spiritual growth. It ensures that learnings are getting practiced and feedback shared to further improve.

I had never thought about the idea that the Bible is God’s letter to us and prayer is our letter back to him. It makes me think more about how am I responding to Him?

Yes it does, I love that way because God kept giving me new insight regardless I read verse many time but God still speak to me with new meaning when I am going through life transition. It is when my cognitive changes and my spiritual growth take to different level as I got older.

I like the way you said that. He is constantly answering our questions even when we are so tied up in the ways of this world, he is still speaking to us.

God speaks to us through His word and we speak to God through prayer. I appreciated that reminder.

When it was explained better I realized that the Bible isn’t just a guidebook, it’s a way for God to speak with us. That made me understand how important it is to read the Bible daily to have a closer relationship with God.
