How did your study on the doctrine of Christ give you a deeper love for the Savior?

Dying a criminal’s death was not something Jesus deserved, yet He sacrificially and obediently did that so that I could be made right with God. He didn’t just die, but died in a horrific way, in an unjust way, in a way I deserved. Jesus taking my place and atoning my sin when He was sinless spurs a love for Him that I don’t know that I’ll ever fully have words for.

Because He lived on earth as a man, He understands how we feel. Therefore he is able to work on our behalf when we pray to Him for help.

He is everlasting and that he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

This lesson helps me to understand that Christ as our redeemer is God. To come down and die for us so that we might be restored and free from sin is more than I could ever ask for.

This study helped me understand much more Christ’s love for us and reasonings for my worship and obedience of Him.
