My understanding of leadership is being able to empower people, especially in areas in which they are experts.

8 June 2022 My understanding and definition of leadership partially comes from my U.S. Armed Forces experience as a Commissioned Officer. The Commission as structured for centuries gives Authority ( Influence) to me; to cause those subordinate to my Life experience and/or Didactic education to exercise their duties to my desires–as long as legally I am not compelling them to do something Illegal, Immoral or Unethical. I also, in recent times; have regarded leadership;through the lens of being a ‘disciple’ of another–that is-a Follower of another;in carrying out whatever the mission may be.
