My understand of Leadership was the ability of someone to guide, teach and influence others. Mostly my experience with leadership was Military and Sports influenced. The ability to achieve a common goal by demonstrating confidence and knowledge in either subject matter or mission.

Leadership is the ability of a person to influence and guide others towards a common goal or vision.

A leader is able to inspire others to following their lead willingly; by being a good example; creating a sense of purpose and commitment. A good leader has the ability to connect with others by their character and actions.
