Offenders benefit from churches becoming involved because they can develop a system of support and networking that can help them not only within the prison, but to help prepare them for a return to society. Victims benefit because they too can have a support system within the church. In addition, the hope in being involved with offenders, the offenders themselves would have no more victims once released.
