How do the concepts discussed in this lesson apply to your work in your classroom?

These concepts will be crucial in my Spanish class. As I introduce students to another language and culture , I will answer some of the basic philosophical questions about other cultures around the world, which can stimulate the learners to direct their thoughts to their own philosophical answers in life.

It helps me to truly get to know and listen to each child as the unique individual God created them to be. In that aspect I can then foster their individual talents and convey to them that they have a purpose, created by God. I can reinforce how important they are in the role God has given them in the world and how to embrace and acknowledge it.

Well as a teacher I am molding these students mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am helping them grow in their faith along with their education. When I teach Science, I want my kids to know most of all that God created science. I hope they can see how science points to our God who created and loves us.

These concepts help me to remember that I am called to be a witness for Christ and that means even in the classroom. Just because I teach at a Christian school, does not mean that all of my students are raised in a Christian home. I have students from different nationalities and some that are not raised in Christian homes. It is my desire to teach them the love of Jesus for as long as I have them so that they may one day come to know Him.
