How we answer those big life questions affects how we interact with others and how we teach. If I see myself and others as a child of God it inspires me to be a better teacher.

Teaching has increased my faith in such a big way. To be intentional to show the children in my classes these things on a daily basis helps me to keep my eyes open to those truths!

I try to implement that God is a part of everything we do. When the students understand they were created intentionally and purposefully, it helps them when they are struggling with a new concept.

I teach that God is in everything. Every subject we learn is related to God becasue by Him are all things. SO we can learn and see God in everything we do.

We integrate daily the concepts of who we are (humans made in the likeness of God, prone to error). We are reminded through various prompts and conversations in the school day of choices that we have made and whether or not they fall in alignment with the Scriptures (i.e. if someone lies about an action – how can we own the error, make reconciliation and then move beyond it – both the transgressor and the one extending forgiveness). We incorporate the ideas of growth and development to acknowledge that this life’s journey (especially as a Believer) is an ongoing process, not a “one and done’ activity. We talk about the purpose of reading the Scriptures. Doing so allows us to gain perspective of what is expected of us as born-again Believers (new creations in Christ) and allows us to understand the Father’s love towards us.
