How do the concepts discussed in this lesson apply to your work in your classroom?

I feel as a Christian Educator there is a value not only for knowledge of the topics I teach, but concern for the students heart and spirit that they would have knowledge of God. In coming into the knowledge of Christ, they will come to find these answers through His Word and continued reminders and guidance from myself in the classroom.

I am intentionally and purposefully created with a soul, with eternal life. This is also true for my students. Knowing this makes me more intentional in discipling my students; I have to think of their eternity and purpose here, which is to know God and serve Him. I have to teach them to understand that their purpose is beyond academics.

My knowledge of Christian philosophy will not only help my students now but also in the future. The educational environment I introduce them to will benefit them for life, as they will continue to reference it.

This influences my mind and approach to teaching having understood that Christian educators educate students not just for the present but for the future with eternity in view.
