The concepts discussed in the lesson apply to the work in my classroom that I have a purpose to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I am here for a reason and that is to shape the students to live a life with Jesus one day.

It is imperative to have relationships with the students and be present to help guide them in these important questions. I must have confidence in my own answers and demonstrate them in my daily life so my students will also feel confident in asking me or looking at my life for guidance. They need to know that God created them for a unique, wonderful purpose.

The concepts discussed in this lesson shed light on the necessity of being alert to what I believe and why, so that I may thoughtfully construct learning experiences that encourage reverence for, and agreement with, the Truth.

Guiding children in learning who they are in Christ applies to every aspect of their life. As they form an identity as a fully loved child of God, each day’s joys and challenges become an opportunity to encourage themselves and others with the truth of God in every situation.

These concepts apply really well in my classroom setting as a physical education teacher. Due to me being in a different course environment due to the nature of the subject, I have a unique opportunity to connect on a more personal level with my students. It gives me an opportunity for me to share my story of how God uses me and continues to use me. It then gives the opportunity to help show them how God is already beginning to use them and how they can work with God in understanding who He is and what they can do to be used by Him.
