Sometimes the struggle with them can be seen in acting out or smart responses. Sometimes they are played out positively, but they are always there for every person. When a student is not settled in who they are or their purpose, the math or reading lesson will not always feel important but it can be a bridge in the relationship to discuss the questions with students.

The Christian philosophy allows us to understand that mathematics is just another invention of God. It is the job of mathematicians and scientists to learn more about the world God created.

It’s imperative that as an educator, I help to facilitate discussion that allows students to wrestle with these questions while always maintaining a biblical worldview at the discussion’s core.
