How can we teach Math, Reading, Science, if we do not show how God is in all these areas? God gives order… he created us with language so we can learn to read and write and learn more about Him.

One of my favorite things to do in the classroom is apply The biblical philosophy in working with children who struggle with different tasks. When a child says I can’t do this it’s I’m just not smart, my comeback is “God has created you to be unique he has created you in his image and you can do all things if you trust in him”.

Understanding who they are in Christ and knowing who God is as Creator is foundational to every topic studied in the classroom each day. Without this foundational understanding, nothing else matters.

Dr. Black’s assertion that our students need to realize, “I am made in the image of God, and my life has purpose, and God is my Father” underscores an essential truth we need to communicate to our students.

We are making an impact on these children daily and pointing them to Jesus.
