I am hoping to be back in the classroom soon taking the concepts discussed here and using them in my teachings. My goal is that my students all know that they are a creation of God. That their existence isn’t just a random happenstance like the world would want them to believe; but rather GOD has created them for a purpose.

The concepts help me to understand better the word of God and apply it in my classroom with my students.

Currently, I am homeschooling but will likely be in a classroom soon. I think this definitely applies to teaching my own children. I hope that my children grow up having a close relationship with the Lord and confidence in who He is and who He made them to be. I love that with Christian Education we can incorporate this into everything we teach!

I teach history and do counseling/discipline at my school. Man’s identity, purpose, and relationship to God is fundamental to counseling students who are immersed in a secular worldview through social media. It is also fundamental to the study of history. History is the story of man, and that only begins at creation and God’s mandates for man.

The concepts discussed in this lesson apply to the work in my classroom because every student I teach and every parent I get to know is an image bearer of God. All people need to understand the foundational truths of why we are here and what is our purpose. God’s Word teaches us all of those answers. As an educator, I am here to share the gospel in all subject areas.
