I am working to have a biblical world view in my classroom.

My job as a teacher is to help students understand that their relationship with Christ should be their anchor in life. As a teacher I also need to be an example of this in my own life. I should anchor each of my lessons in such a way to bring glory to the Lord and to help the students understand each topic from a biblical perspective.

The concepts discussed in this lesson help me bring to my students the truth about God and His purpose for all of us. God has a purpose for me as a teacher, as well as for them, as my students. My philosophy of education will directly impact my students’ understanding of the big questions they have. The beauty of it all is that, as a Christian educator, I am able to help my students find out and learn about God’s truth as we walk together with Christ.

Everything we do and teach our students affects their future…both here on earth and in eternity.

This means that everything we do needs to revolve around God’s Truth. It means we take ten to work through our recess dramas. It means taking five minutes to remind a student that God made them so they have wisdom, even mid-lesson is as important as finishing the lesson. It means the eternity things matter before the worldly things.
