These concepts of the Big Questions in Life is applied in our daily classroom shows students the love of God. They were made with purpose and it looks all different but all are God’s children.

Christian philosophy is an anchor for spreading the word of God to others. It helps us to learn more about ourselves and understand who we are and why we are in this world. It helps us understand our purpose and implement the love of God in others around us. We become the beacon of light to nonbelievers and will be able to bring joy into their lives by spreading the gospel.

We are able to share the Love of God towards our students. In some cases being the only beacon of hope and consistency.

I like how this lesson breaks it down very simply and to the point: we are all created by God, in His image, and have a purpose and a Father. I teach Social Studies, and when we talk about ancient civilizations we sometimes come across these big questions (Where did we come from? Why are we here? How can we see God’s hand in these civilizations that seem so foreign to us and that followed other gods?). I’d like to be able to point to the foundational truths discussed in this lesson and have quotes from the Bible at the ready.

The concepts apply because as an educator we are to pass down knowledge and truth to the next generation. The question of “who am I” is critical to a purposeful life. We are fortunate to be in a setting that allows us to proclaim God’s truth on the meaning of life, and where did we come from.
