How do you currently encourage your students to find their God-given calling?

I try to help them find out what they are good at and think about more things than just making money

I am currently working with a whole course on how to figure out the giftings that God has given them, the activities they enjoy and are good at and then we will look out how to apply this to potential careers. God calls us to reflect Him and His character in our professions.

By taking a gifts analysis.

We typically have regular discussions pertaining to how God has gifted them along with passions/desires He has given them also. We talk about things that come to them more easily than others as well as things that naturally gain their interest. We couple all of these things with biblical principles about serving God with our gifts.

I have a daily journal writing assignment in which I challenge students on occasion to think about what they want to do in the future and what they think God may want them to do. We also talk about that and think of ways God may want us to live right now as well. There is always an open opportunity during prayer time as well to talk and think about what God is saying to us in our lessons and in our minds and hearts through His word.
