How do you currently encourage your students to find their God-given calling?

Praising specific actions or accomplishments to encourage a positive trait, especially in treating others kindly. Students are used to be recognizing for academic accomplishments and that’s important but it’s also important to recognize character development. Another way is giving a student who is ready more responsibility or a new role in the classroom.

I encourage students to find their calling by encouraging prayer and listening to advice given from parents, church members/pastors, and listening to their heart. It is hard to teach students at a young age to try and find their calling but I believe everyone in this world has a calling from God and my hope is that everyone listens.

I encourage them by admonishing them to honor God in everything that they do. Through reading Scripture, praying, speaking to mentors, exploring talents and interests, etc, students can seek their calling.

I encourage my students to explore their talents, abilities, hobbies, and interests; challenging them to prayerfully consider how each of these could be used to further the cause for Christ.

I talk to them about their passions and what they are good at. I encourage them to continue to pursue their passion and help them to find ways to channel that passion. I encourage them to never give up if they become frustrated because that is how we grow and learn.
