How do you currently encourage your students to find their God-given calling?

I encourage my students when I see them using their strengths and talents. By high school, many of my students are thinking about what job they want after graduation. I encourage them to do what they love. God has given us each talents and capabilities. When we follow His lead He shows us the plans He has for us.

I explain to my students that God has given them gifts and talents. I ask them what do they like to do, what is their favorite hobby, etc. Then we talk about it. I encourage them when they are doing well and even in the things they like to do.

I teach kindergartners and having such conversations is still a little tricky, but we role-play very well. In my classroom, we all have jobs; I am the teacher and general helper to any friend who forgot their job or is absent. I encourage them with praise, high-fives, and a general class ovation when their contracts are over:) I take notes of activities they love to do for my records and also share with their parents.

As a 2nd-grade teacher, I encourage my students to discover their God-given calling by asking thought-provoking questions such as, “What do you enjoy doing for others?” and “What do you naturally love to do?” These questions help them uncover their passions and talents. We also explore various careers and ways to serve others through activities like Career Day, where students can learn from guest speakers and envision their future roles. By fostering these conversations and experiences, I aim to inspire my students to consider how God might be calling them to make a positive impact in the world.

I always tell the students to focus on what God says about any issues of their life through prayers, obedient and willingness to take steps.
