How do you currently encourage your students to find their God-given calling?

We discuss the various callings/distinct job positions of 3 groups (family members, their peers parents or grandparents or school administration). They interview them, write a report and present to the class how they made their decision and whether it was a lifelong career or were there changes along the way.

I talk with my students about how we are all created different and that God has a special plan for each of them. I encourage them to be in God’s Word and let them know that God will show them the direction their lives need to go.

I think that it is important to first encourage students to love themselves and for them to know that they were created by God for a purpose. I emphasize to my students the importance of working on mission with the Lord and to give their best in all that they do.

Yes, I encourage them to work hard at the task at hand, but be listening to God’s calling.

I ALWAYS REMIND MY STUDENTS TO PUT GOD FIRST AND HE WILL DIRECT THEIR PATHS.
