One particular student was having a bad time and expressed that he felt useless and good at nothing. I was able to share with him my perspective on his usefulness and God’s love for him as a professed believer to encourage him to get past these doubts to see himself as God does, as He shares in His Word.

I encourage them to try many different activities, try new things, and most likely one of those things will feel natural, fun, and make you feel confident. I remind them that each person is unique and that they do not need to compare their calling to anyone else’s. Just simply excel in the calling God has given you.
