How do you feel about developing biblically integrated units/lessons? Overwhelmed? Excited? Hesitant? Explain.

I do agree that it will get easier once I get the hang of it and I see the absolute necessity for it. I want my students to have God’s truth permeate their education and this passion will need to motivate me when I’m overwhelmed.

Deleted User06/28/2023 at 11:52Looking over some of the other participants’ responses, I see a lot of people saying they are excited. I am not one of them. I find unit development to be unexciting and overwhelming. It takes a lot of time and I find it hard to justify. I tend to think of the chapters in my curriculum as the units. I’m thinking I may be able to use the Eight Guiding Questions within the chapter format and improve the biblical focus that way. I know I need to improve in this area.

Additionally, I look forward to making sure every lesson I teach impacts the heart, head, and hands from a biblical worldview.

Deleted User06/21/2023 at 14:41I’m excited! I know that everything is related to God with my biblical worldview. Sitting down and purposefully identifying how each lesson answers one of the big quesitons will confirm that belief and help me show it to students.
