I would say that I’m mostly hesitant because of how much thought and energy it would take to integrate biblical concepts into all my lessons. I struggle with the idea of effectively incorporating biblical aspects into all my lessons.

As a pastor I am always thrilled to find ways that connect the Bible to every day lessons. If a teacher truly puts their heart and mind to the process, they can be prepared to give answers without being overwhelmed or hesitant to do so.

I like the fact that there is freedom in our country and school to integrate Biblical teaching into our lesson plans. I will do it more in the years to come. Having said that, I tend to be a bit hesitant of this approach because I’ve seen many teachers that have been very quick to give a sermon or guide their students into a guilt-based discipline that they themselves don’t follow. I will make sure that what I’m saying in course is supported by the scriptures, and that my life will be an example to the students who are with me every day.

I feel great about it. I teach Bible, so i obviously have an advantage, but this is the whole core of what I get to teach. Every conversation, every Biblical book we cover, everything we do has its roots in the Gospels and integrating the Word of God into every day life.

Neutral. I understand the work that is involved in developing biblically integrated units/lessons. It is very important that time is taken to develop units and understand how concepts work together. The guiding questions allow for a comprehensive teaching model that is beneficial to the student.
