Excited! Coming from the public school realm, this was something I never had the chance to do. I look forward to teaching my students “Roman’s Road” in Spanish, as well as basic vocabulary that they can use when going on missions trips with their churches.

I feel that my units and lesson plans have been developed and biblical principles are embedded within each unit and lesson. Now I need to go back and make sure that these questions are addressed.

I have to agree with others, I am excited and a bit overwhelmed by the time-consuming side of the process. I want to incorporate my biblical worldview into what I teach and I want my students to understand the godly why behind when they have to learn what I teach, yet I also know this can be very time-consuming when first starting in on this process. I will be very grateful for any colleagues who are able to assist me through the first time or two. I also know that since I see God in so much that I do, ensuring that my students see Him, too, will be almost a second nature to me in time.

I feel excited yet overwhelmed. I know in the long run it will be beneficial and helpful once it is done (although I know it is never truly done, but once the base is there it can be adjusted as needed), but crossing that hurdle and taking the time to work on my curriculum mapping on top of everything else is definitely overwhelming some days. Incorporating God’s word into my lessons more is an area I need to work on, and I know this will benefit myself and my students, so I am excited and encouraged by that.

I feel excited. The more that students see how the Bible applies in all subject areas, the more they will be excited to read it and want to study God’s word.
