Excited! My faith is such a big part of my life that it is easiest for me to infuse it into everything I do.

Lesson planning in general is a struggle for me. Learning the how to’s is immeasurably helpful, but overall am quite nervous for the process.

I definitely feel a little overwhelmed, but also excited. Overwhelmed because this is my first year at a new school and I already feel as though I can’t add anything else on to my plate or I’m going to burnout. I definitely am going to be more intentional about answering some of the guiding questions in my lessons, but sitting down an actually writing out a plan will have to wait until this summer unfortunately. I’m excited because God’s Word and His Son are so precious to me, and I want so desperately to share their love and truth with my students and to do so in a consistent way.

Excited. I like a “reverse engineering” type approach to education: what are the outcomes I’m striving for based on a Christian worldview? How do I construct a course — from big picture down to daily lesson plans — that works to achieve those outcomes?

Motivated to go even farther in incorporating more biblical integration.
