You should have heard the moans and groans from the teachers. Also the comment, “Are we going to get paid more for this?” It was comical, but also somewhat disturbing. I am one of those “freaks” that loves to do curriculum mapping and designing. It brings we many many hours of joy.

I think in many ways I already integrate biblical concepts and our curriculum thankfully does a very good job of helping us. I have not been as intentional as I should be about biblical integration, however, and have much to learn. I can see how over time it will become second nature, but I sure wish I knew someone who could mentor me on a personal level.

Deleted User07/13/2021 at 17:10I find it a little bit challenging because as an ESL teacher, I do not follow my own curriculum. I support the classroom teachers and fill in gaps in students learning. So as far as developing a unit, I have never done that. I do have some ideas of how to integrate the Bible into a few lessons I have taught, but I am not sure how to do what I think is being asked of me here.
