It can feel tacked on or attached just for the sake of following a rule. I can easily pull things into teachable moments, but planning it for every day is really challenging.

This approach to education can be beneficial for students, as it helps them to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them and how to make wise decisions based on biblical values. Overall, developing biblically integrated units/lessons can be a powerful tool for educators looking to create a holistic approach to education that integrates faith, academics, and real-world application.

We look for what is good, beautiful, and True – the bigger truths. What does God say about what is going on in the painting? What is being communicated? Those kinds of questions and discussions are where we get the most authentic Biblical integration in art. I also often remind students that we do art, because we imitate the Great Artist.
