How do you feel about developing biblically integrated units/lessons? Overwhelmed? Excited? Hesitant? Explain.

I have been doing it for three years and am excited to continue to do it.

I find the process of mapping very overwhelming. I have a great appreciation for the teams public schools have the go through and set up the maps and unit expectations for their teacher teams. Doing it solo the last few years has been rather harrowing.

I feel confident in developing biblically integrated lessons because I understand that the only way a student can survive spiritually in this world is to know the truth of God’s word. Everything we learn in this life is connected to the plan that God has for our lives. Students need to know academically how to live because it is connected to their career choices. Students need to learn spiritually because it is connected to both their career choice and life journey pass their career.

I’m nither here nor there, my school requires that we do it anyways so I have already been doing it.

I have been trying to do this the whole time I have been teaching and have succeeded in some areas. This year I have solidified my curriculum a little more and so it does leave more time to find even more ways to integrate the bible into my lessons.
