If we do not think and pray about these questions, we are not well positioned to answer the questions of our students, let alone be able to guide them in their faith.

It is not uncommon for students to ask these questions. This is particularly true in the upper levels. Although, I have found Middle Schoolers ask tough questions too. It brings up the fact that we should always be prepared for these things. However, rather than just knowing and producing the answer, we should point them to the Bible and assist them in finding it themselves.

This has a direct influence on my worldview and purpose as educator. This sustains me to know that I am called by God and I serve Him in the process.
