Our beliefs manifest themselves in our actions, even if we are not always able to consciously trace the line from a belief to an action. Therefore I am convinced that the more true my personal answers to the big questions of life are, the better I live. This has implications across all aspects of my life, but certainly includes my roll as a teacher. The way I treat my students, the way I go about educating them, the content that I choose to cover in course, all of these decisions have some connection to what I believe about the big questions of life.

The Bible is truth no matter what, and when we can’t find the answers that is where our faith steps in. We trust God even when we don’t understand everything fully.

As I speak about the big questions of life, I am educating my students about the truths that the Bible teaches us about the answer to those questions. My role as an educator is to equip my students with truths that will help them as the interact with this world.
