I think that if students know that they are created in the image of God and that He really does have a plan for their life makes a huge difference in their education.

Making a point of knowing your identity in Christ has always being important to me. And I tell this to my students, my friends and whoever will listen.
I am adopted by my Heavenly Father through the blood of His Son Christ Jesus, and I am a fellow heir of Christ to the Kingdom of God. I use the gift He has given me to teach other the wonderful work He has done and the hope of life and freedom we have in Christ.
I am forever singing His praises and serving Him until He calls me name. -
The big question of life influences me in the way that I need to remind myself that I was created in the image of God and I am here to serve God because he has called on me to fulfill his wisdom of love and have an eternal life.

My answers to the “big questions of life” align with why I’m an educator! I take seriously the calling of connecting with and guiding students. Relationships and expressing Jesus’s love are the only real important things in life. Being a Christian educator allows me to grapple with and share the answers to these big questions.

It influences me to remember that we are all made in the image of God and that I need to reiterate that truth to my students often so that they are reminded of their importance and purpose.
