By showing grace like God does, by being patient, kind to others, showing love, we show the children how God wants us to behave. When we are anchored in who we are and our purpose in life, we emulate that for our students in how we act and interact with them.

I remind my kids daily as they leave me…Remember Who you are. and Whose you are. This is to remind them to follow God’s will in all that they do and remember they are representing him to those around them. Regardless of “no one’s paying attention to me”…someone is always watching. Attempting to see how a Christian acts or responds when things do not go as planned. A phrase often used around me “I may be the only Bible others may ever see” resonates deeply for me. Understanding my purpose and demonstrating God’s love for others through me influences my role as an educator because it is far more truthful that I care to believe.
