Knowing who made me, why I was made, and what my life is moving towards ground me in my approach as an educator and give me an overall sense of purpose. I know why i’m alive, I know who I am, and I know where I’m going, which motivate me to teach my students these truths about themselves.

What God has shown me to be the “big answers” are a part of me. You can’t teach and not give a part of yourself in every lesson.

My answers to “the big questions of life” discussed in this lesson influence me in my role as an educator as it is from that standpoint and worldview/perspective that I will consciously and subconsciously teach from. The models and examples I use will be informed by these answers.

I want to convey to my students that they are made in the image of God and He has a purpose for their lives. What they do and they choices they make have eternal importance.
