How does an understanding of human behavior help the leader bring about change?

A wise person once told me, if you keeping the same thing you will keep getting the same results. Change is opposite to human nature and behavior. When we learn how to do something will continue down the same path forever if we are comfortable. So the better I understand people, the better I can lead them and bring them to be able to change and adapt to new situations.

Understanding of human behaviour will help a leader to bring a change. People behave differently and every one behaves in the way that makes sense to him or her. The pastor have to understand the people he is working with to know their behaviour and believe. He will have to communicate with them in a way they will understand what he is saying and the reason why the is bringing a change. He must involve, inform them. He should let people understand the reason for the change.
