God knows what we need even before we ask, but He desires to fellowship and have an intimate relationship with us. Our prayers don’t need to be long and drawn out, but simple and heartfelt. It’s not about the quantity of our words, but the quality of our words as we pour our hearts out to Him.

He gives us specific areas that we can focus on and change to meet the needs that we are requesting now. He shows us how to pray, not only for requests, but also to lift the name of God high so He can be exalted through our prayers.
