How does Jesus teach us to go deeper in our asking when we pray?

Our focus for asking should be on expanding His Kingdom and drawing us closer to Him. But he also asks us to ask for anything. Jesus places a lot of emphasis on asking.

Deleted User06/30/2023 at 11:38Jesus teaches us how to pray with examples in the Bible. He teaches us that we should always focus on him first not only in our everyday life but when we pray as well. I feel like if we would focus more on him first when we start to pray our prayers would go deeper than we have before. We should focus on Him first and then pray about ourselves.

Therefore as the word teaches we should “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” And Jesus is reminding us that we are praying to someone who loves us very dearly, our “Abba Father.”
