How does Jesus teach us to go deeper in our asking when we pray?

He lays out a pattern for us to pray and tells us to pray for whatever you want.

I like what Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, and how this course shows that we need to be like little children, to be and know that we are dependent in Him for everything, and to see all our requests as worthy of earnestly asking for His provision in. It caused me to ask Father God for something that I have desired but thought not nearly as important as other things I request of Him.

To teach us to seek Him first, to seek the kingdom of heaven, to seek His will before we get to us and consider others forgive not just ourselves but consider the other.

Jesus teaches us to go deeper by having faith during prayer. As Christians, we should understand that Jesus does not always answer prayer right away, but we never know the day nor hour He will.
