Keep praying until he answers. Your prayers should uplift and support the Chirstian church and the Christian community. You should never ask for selfish gifts which serve Jesus no purpose.

May:
Your name be acknowledged and honoured
I look forward to life with You and live for You
I want things Your way, not mine
I bring my smallest needs to You
I forgive like You do
You help me do what’s right
Amen.

By teaching us how to pray. He has given us the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. It’s broken down into specific parts (requests) that we should use as a model when we pray.

We are instructed to look beyond the barrier o circumstances and pray for His Kingdom to come on earth like it is in heaven. We are supposed to think from an eternal perspective that considers life the way God originally intended. We are to value heavenly things instead of earthly gain.

God always put us first. He first loved us and died for us. Similarly, in the Lord’s prayer, He wants us to think of the wider kingdom rather than ourselves. Put Him first. Love Him first and then love others. Then He would take care of us and our needs.
