He teaches us that we can be confident and refreshed, and provided for. That we can have peace knowing Gid already knows us and what we need.

Jesus shows us how to pray deeper by using the Lord’s Prayer. He starts by helping us focus on God—like honoring His name and asking for His kingdom to come. This reminds us to think about what God wants first, not just what we want. Then, we can ask for our needs, like food, but we also learn to trust that God knows best. It’s about talking to God in a way that helps us connect with Him more.

Jesus teaches us to go deeper in the Lord’s by showing how pray to the Father He is God and to give reverence to Him. Then we can go further in our prayer knowing that He will provide all of needs and protect us from evil. What we ask of the Father in Jesus’ name and if it is in His will, it will be given to us.

Jesus wants us to be honest, open your heart to God, the more we read the scriptures the closer we will get to God. It was truly a wakeup call for me. Now I have a totally different demeaner when I pray.

Jesus teaches us to go deeper in our asking by modeling that prayer requires a kingdom focus and a kingdom fucus requires knowledge of and relationship with our heavenly Father.
