He teaches us to remember His Kingdom first of all! And our motives must be in order. Remembering that our prayers at all times are a true relationship with Him.

In order for us to go deeper in our asking when we pray, we have to pray with pure motives. We have to also pray with God‘s kingdom in mind and his will being at the forefront of our request. We have to really have a true relationship with our father because our heart posture during prayer matters how we come before his throne matters, he desires that we come to him helpless, knowing that he is the one who has all power in his hands and we can do nothing outside of his will knowing that the result of our prayer is already done because our father desires to give us the things we ask for he is waiting for us to ask so that he can show us his love and his power by answering our prayers then only he will get the glory

He teaches us to first seek the will of the Father while also being Kingdom-minded. The Lord’s Prayer is a template for us to ask to have our daily needs met, while also reminding us to ask for forgiveness and forgive others, daily. Relationally, we must know in our hearts that God is our ultimate Father, and what would we do knowing we had a caring, loving and generous Father? We’d ask, we’d seek, we’d knock.
