He tells us to bring the deepest concerns of our hearts to Him.

There’s no issue or matter that is to big or small to take before Lord in prayer. Therefore as the word teaches we should “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” And Jesus is reminding us that we are praying to someone who loves us very dearly, our “Abba Father.”

He gave us the Lord’s Prayer as a model for how to pray deeper.

He teaches to go beyond ourselves and seek the Kingdom of God rather than just our own natural needs and desires. He is bigger than us and wants us to seek the Father to do bigger works, in His name.

How to pray and what to say when we do pray to God. Go big and go deeper with focus on things above (in Heaven).
