By first acknowledging how great and holy God is, brings me to my knees in awe. This allows me to change my focus from self-centered to God centered.
“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done “.
And He is still considerate about my feelings and ideas and desires. -
Jesus wants us to go, “BIG” this gives us freedom to bring all things in prayer, trusting in faith

In the Lord prayer, He gives us a model prayer that shows us an hierarchy or order of things we should be praying for, beginning with the the things that concern God (His Holiness, His Kingdom, and His Will) followed by our individual needs (our daily sustenance and protection from the adversary) and for the needs of others.

He lets us come to the end of our self so we can depend solely on him
