How does Jesus teach us to go deeper in our asking when we pray?

Deleted User09/03/2024 at 22:14I believe that Jesus is teaching us first of all to be intimate, with our heavenly Father. He gives us a specific way to come to God in prayer; by using the Lord’s prayer.

Deleted User09/01/2024 at 19:06Jesus gave us the fundamentals keys to prayer when we answered the disciples and gave the example of how to pray to the Father in Heaven. We acknowledge Him, His will & His kingdom. WE ASK for forgiveness, we forgive, we ask for protection. (Matt. 6:9-13) We are taught & reminded that He is our Father and knows what we need. We need just have Faith & come to Him as children. We are to build relationship and not be lead or fooled by religion (praying vein repetitions). We are to Pray without ceasing/ continuously. (1 Thes. 5:17)

Deleted User08/18/2024 at 00:22Jesus was always talking to God. Often you see Him still away to quietness so that He may hear a word when things was getting tough. Jesus always said He was doing His Father’s will. In order to know His Father’s will, He must commune with Him.
