Deleted User07/16/2024 at 09:04I do know prayer is about relationship. Jesus gives us a template, things to focus on or acknowledge. I believe our prayers will change as our relationship with God grows.

Deleted User07/12/2024 at 21:05He shows us in Matthew 6:9-13. First we acknowledge and show that we honor Him as holy even though we know He is. Wanting His way in all things and asking Him to help us want what He wants for us shows our submission to Him and trusting that He knows what’s best for us. Even though He knows our needs, he still wants to hear them.

Deleted User07/05/2024 at 10:22Jesus teaches us to go to God about everything; big and small. We have an eternal, loving God and Father who wants to be part of every aspect of our lives, but we have to invite into every area of our lives through prayer.

Deleted User06/26/2024 at 10:23Our asking should include a focus on His kingdom not just ourselves. We should include in our prayers a desire to see His name be honored, His character and mission understood, and His will to be completed over everything else.
