<div>By praying His will. Knowing that His ways are higher than our ways and His plans for us are good and in the end better than what we could have wanted for ourselves.</div>

Prayer shows our dependency on God. We are saying God is powerful and in control and we are not.

He tells us to pray for the Kingdom of God to come down and His will be done on our earth. We are meant to be living in His kingdom mindset while we are on the earth since He will return to rule it (Revelation 21 and 22). He also emphasizes forgiveness of our enemies and not holding onto offense since we are forgiven.

Jesus prayed often… and He is God! He even prayed to His Father to remove the cup that He had to drink, but in the end He asked for His Father´s will to be done and not His. We can´t be afraid to ask.

Jesus uses the Lord’s Prayer to teach us how to pray and to pray deeper. We first acknowledge him as holy. Then that his kingdom come and that his will would be done. Then we ask for our daily bread, forgiveness and to be lead out of temptation. God is a big God so we should pray big and be specific.
